Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our on line information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, you will find a link to it at the bottom of every page on this Forum

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on this Forum. On some pages, you can provide personal information to display to other users. It is important to us that you understand what information is displayed to the public and what is not. (just received this forwarded email thurs dec 1st 2011 5pm !)

Hi All (Please forward to any parents who may want to raise their issues)

I'd like to raise the issues that some of you have regards the difficulties your children have accessing high quality inclusive swimming in the County. In order to take this forward i really need to understand the specific issues and challneges you and your children are experiencing. If you could kinldy take a few moments to highlight what your issues are and what you think the solution is (if you can). Some basic bullet points will do.

If you could send them through to me ASAP i will get a letter sent off to ASA and request a response and action. I'll make sure you are kept in the loop regards any correspondence or developments. Many Thanks

PS If you could respond no later than 5pm tomorrow that would be much appreicated as i'd like to get the letter sent off before i go on leave next Wednesday. (7th December).

Many Thanks

General / Matthew's Switch
Last post by jol - November 21, 2011, 08:00:43 PM
Matthew's Switch

is a simple customisable program that may allow parents, teachers and helpers to introduce and practice simple switch choices and evaluate whether a disabled child could eventually make use of one of the more advanced and expensive systems

Matthew is a 9 year old disabled lad with profound difficulties; he can't operate a mouse without help, and up till now, has not been able to successfully utilise the myriad of input devices available.

He currently uses an Italk 4 hardware switch at school and home, and his twin brother and I have designed a software version which we hope to run on a ipad for him to try. We have just uploaded Desktop versions for Mac & Windows for you all to try; let us know what you think
