“This traditional Cumbrian, cottage is clean and simple with woodburner, exposed oak beams upstairs and a light airy sunroom overlooking the garden".

Located in the middle of Flookburgh Square, a thriving working village location, the property has access to local amenities as well as many footpaths, bridleways and country lanes. This is an ideal base from which to explore South Lakeland’s varied attractions. These include riding, parachuting from Cark airfield and horseracing at Cartmel. Holker Hall gardens and motor museum are a short walk away, as is the Children’s Open Farm (where there are llamas) and a miniature village. Flookburgh is “out of the way” but easy to get to by car or train. Cark railway station is but a five minute walk from our front door. Map
