South Cumbria Dyslexia Association is a locally based organisation

that was founded in 1981 to provide advice, support and professional

assessment for dyslexic people of all ages


Over the years we have been proud to play a part in raising

awareness of dyslexia and related specific learning difficulties

including Specific Language Difficulties, Auditory and

Visual Processing Difficulties, Attention Difficulties and Dyspraxia.


We currently offer the following services:


Comprehensive Diagnostic assessments for Specific Learning

   Difficulties including dyslexia £400

   Advice and information

   Meetings for parents

   Private tuition: we maintain a list of tutors with specialist qualifications
